A classic Guinness tee with an Irish language twist, the Bottle Guinness Irish Label T-Shirt is a great spin on the classic Guinness brand label. Written in Gaelic style lettering, the shirt reads “Lionn Dubh Dúbalta” at top and “Geata Shan Séamais Áth Cliath” at bottom, which trasnaltes to Extra Stout and Saint James’s Gate, Dublin. The logo itself is printed over a vintage harp design, Guinness’s official trademark logo, derived from the Trinity Harp in Trinity College, Dublin, one of the oldest and most beautiful surviving examples of renaissance Celtic harps.

Guinness is arguably the most recognizable brand in Ireland. Founded in 1759 in Dublin, Guinness has become as inextricably linked to the identity of the country itself as the shamrock. Renowned for their trademark dark stout and clever advertising during the 20th century with slogans like “A Guinness A Day” and “My Goodness My Guinness,” to own a piece of Guinness apparel is to own a piece of Irish culture.
