We all know his name, but who exactly was the famous St Patrick? Born in the 5th century in Roman Britain, he was kidnapped and enslaved, ending up in Ireland. Now, he’s the patron saint and national apostle of Ireland often believed to be the bringer of Christianity to the country. Every March 17th (the day he died), the Irish descendants, and general bon vivants across the globe celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Originally a religious feast day, the holiday is now an international festival celebrating Irish culture with giant parades, dancing, corned beef and cabbage, beer and the color green.

Shamrock St Patrick's Day Gifts

Practically synonymous with St. Patrick’s Day or anything even remotely associated with Ireland heritage is the shamrock. If you look for something warm, try our Green and White Irish Merino Wool Hat with Shamrocks for Men and Women, or opt for an Aran Merino Wool Knit Scarf with Shamrocks. They beautifully display the shamrock and are super soft and cozy, what can be better for a chilly St. Patrick’s Day?

If you’re looking for something elegant, our Patrick Francis Ladies Silk Scarf and Shamrock Emerald Earrings are the perfect match.

The shamrock has a long history with Ireland that goes as far back to ancient Celtic times. Well before the time of Saint Patrick, Druids believed that the flower’s three leaves represented the three forms of the Triple Goddess: mother, maiden, and wise woman. They also believed the shamrock could ward off evil spirits and danger. Celts also revered the three-leaf design of the flower because the number three had significance in Celtic culture. In later years, the shamrock was associated with Saint Patrick because he used the flower’s three heart-shaped leaves to explain the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of the Holy Trinity in Christianity.

Irish Flag Gifts

On a spirited day like St. Patrick’s Day, proudly displaying the national Irish flag is a must, whether it be with an actual flag or items like the Irish Adult tri-color Cap. Also known as the Irish tricolor, the national flag of the Republic of Ireland is marked by its three vertical stripes of Kelly green, white, and orange. This flag was flown for the first time on March 7, 1848, in Waterford City by Thomas Francis Meagher during the Young Irelander Rebellion of 1848. The flag was a gift to Meagher from a group of French women who supported the Irish efforts and symbolized hope for unity between the Protestants and Roman Catholics. The green stripe at the hoist represents the Roman Catholics, the orange stripe at the opposite end symbolizes the Protestant minority, and the white stripe in the middle signifies the lasting peace between the two denominations.

St Patrick’s Day Leprechaun Gifts

One amusing character that is commonly seen around St. Paddy’s day on T-shirts, socks, and trinkets is the Irish leprechaun. A must-have for St. Patrick's Day is considered to be the iconic Leprechaun Hat and Ireland Leprechaun T-Shirt. Leprechauns are naughty little beings from Irish fairy tales that make shoes and gather gold coins in pots that they hide at the end of a rainbow. According to folklore, if a person captures the leprechaun, then the leprechaun will grant his captor three wishes if he sets him free.

St Patrick’s Day Guinness Gifts

No St. Patrick’s Day celebration is complete without some authentic Irish beer like Guinness! Known as a household name that is enjoyed all over the world, Guinness started making history on December 31st, 1759. That was the day that the beer founder, Arthur Guinness, signed an astounding 9,000-year lease at St. James’s Gate Brewery in Dublin, Ireland. This brewery is where Guinness is still made today. Marked by its grand black entrance gate that displays the Guinness name and harp logo in radiant gold lettering, the antique-style light posts that flank the gate, and the weathered brick road leading to the gate, St. James’s Gate Brewery is a historic landmark in Ireland that many visit today.
Here you will find a stunning and large range of St Patrick’s Day Guinness T-Shirts for Men and Women, Guinness Hoodies, Guinness caps and Guinness Gifts for St. Patrick's Day.

Whether you want to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, recognize another Irish holiday, or just show your Irish pride any time of the year, you have a wide range of choices for St Patrick Day gifts as decorative apparel, accessories, and souvenirs that will show everyone you see that you fervently love the Emerald Isle!
