Irish Trinity Knot Earrings

Allegedly, a merchant seaman from Claddagh, in County Galway, was enslaved by Algerian traders and spent over a decade in the service of a Moorish goldsmith before being released by British royal decree. When he returned to Claddagh, he fashioned the first-ever Claddagh ring for his lost love to show he hadn’t forgotten about her. The hands symbolize friendship, the heart love, and the crown loyalty.
