These earrings feature a great combination of the Claddagh and Trinity Knot in Sterling Silver and 10K Gold.
The Trinity Knot is the most basic of Celtic knots and is thought to have symbolized the Christian Holy Trinity: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
It also includes the Claddagh symbol, which legend says was created by Richard Joyce, a Galway seafarer kidnapped by pirates and sold into slavery in North Africa where he learned the art of a goldsmithing. When he was released, nothing could keep him from his beloved Galway, where he returned to become a master goldsmith and created the Claddagh. For centuries, this symbol has been used in Irish jewelry to represent Love, Loyalty, and Friendship.
Packaged in a beautiful keepsake box, these earrings make a great gift or addition to your jewelry collection.
