Small and elegant, these beautiful Gold Plated Claddagh Stud Earrings are the perfect accessory to show off your love of Ireland. The Claddagh is one of the most meaningful symbols to have originated in the country, representing love, loyalty, and friendship with its heart, crown, and hands.

Legend has it that a 16th century Irish mariner from the Claddagh region of County Galway had to leave the love of his life to go to sea and was captured, spending years away with no way to send word. When he returned, he fashioned the first ever Claddagh ring, named for his home, for his lost love as a symbol of his undying devotion and affection.

These earrings are made of a high quality base metal and plated in elegant gold. They are handcrafted in Ireland by Solvar Jewelry, based in Dublin since 1941.

Dimensions: 10mm x 10mm.
