The perfect wedding present for the perfect couple, these Bride and Groom Flutes with a Silver Plated Pewter Claddagh design are as elegant as they are meaningful. Each flute has centered on it a beautiful silver-plated Claddagh design, Ireland’s preeminent symbol of everlasting love that dates back to the 17th century.

Legend has it that a Galway man was captured at sea and sold into slavery to a goldsmith, leaving his love behind for many years. Eventually, when he was able to escape and return to Ireland, he fashioned the first ever Claddagh ring out of shavings he had kept. The heart signifies love, the crown loyalty, and the hands represent friendship, three sides of eternal love.

The Robert Emmet Company was founded in New England in 1987 as one of the first Irish gift and design companies based in the United States. Now in its fourth decade, the company remains family-owned and operated and is committed to combining quality American craftsmanship with a passion for Irish history, culture, and heritage.

Set of two 11 oz. flutes. Etched glass with silver-plated pewter medallions. Packaged in secure gift box with custom foam nest and clear cover.
